Larry Hoover Jr. Confirms Kanye West and Drake Will Appear at Benefit Concert

Just days after Kanye West and Drake appeared to make amends at the Toronto rapper’s mansion, Larry Hoover Jr. has confirmed that both will place their differences asides to appear at a benefit concert. The concert is expected to help free Hoover Jr.’s father.

Earlier this month, Kanye and J. Prince appeared in a video together where Ye reflected on his past issues with Drake and expressed that he wanted to end the feud. In a recent interview on The Murder Master Music Show, Hoover Jr. himself confirmed that the benefit concert for his father is set to go down next month. He said,

“Everything is good, and it’s happening at this point. It’s happening! December 9th you will see them together advocating for freeing Larry Hoover.”

Hoover Jr. added, “We are gonna get the word out to as many people as we can. We gotta let the powers that be know that we want Larry Hoover in our community. That’s gonna be a big way to do it. Plus we want to show people of other communities that we can come together in peace.” When asked about which artists are set to perform at the upcoming benefit concert, Hoover Jr. responded, “I don’t know. You know, Kanye and Drake, they have star power. I don’t know who else may be there. It’s very possible—anybody in the business, I believe, those are some of the guys to work with and be a part of whatever they do.” Earlier this month, Ye had asked Drake to join him as a his “special guest” for the benefit concert “with the ultimate purpose being to free Larry Hoover.”
