WME Signs Nicole Beharie

After performing double duty at Sundance this year in the films 892 and Honk for Jesus. Nicole Beharie, the actress who starred in Save Your Soul., has signed with WME.

Focus Features and Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw Productions have acquired Honk for Jesus: Save Your Soul for a theatrical day-and-date release on Peacock later this year. Beharie co-stars with Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown in the comedy, which follows Trinitie Childs (Hall), the first lady of a major Southern Baptist Mega Church in the aftermath of a scandal, as she tries to rebuild their congregation with her pastor-husband, Lee-Curtis Childs (Brown).

In 2020, Beharie starred in Channing Godfrey Peoples' Miss Juneteenth, which earned her critical acclaim, a Gotham Award, and an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her performance. Her performance was also named one of Time's "10 Best Movie Performances of 2020."

42, Shame, American Violet, and Monsters And Men are among the other films in which he has appeared.

She most recently appeared in Amazon's anthology series Solos and HBO's limited series Scenes From a Marriage, both of which she co-starred in with Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain. She may also be featured in the Hulu limited series Little Fires Everywhere and the acclaimed Netflix series Black Mirror episode "Striking Vipers.

Beharie previously appeared in the Fox supernatural series Sleepy Hollow for three years.

CAA and ICM previously represented Beharie. John Meigs, her attorney, is still representing her.
