Samsung might ditch in-box chargers for more budget phones

Following in the footsteps of Apple, Samsung was one of the first Android smartphone manufacturers to abandon the supplied charger for its flagship phones. We've already seen the firm drop the in-box charger for a couple of lower-priced phones, but a recent leak suggests that this is just the beginning.

On Twitter, frequent leaker Yogesh Brar reported that Samsung will not include in-box chargers for the next Galaxy M and Galaxy A series smartphones. Furthermore, Brar stated that the next Galaxy F23 will be devoid of a charger.

This isn't the first time Samsung has dropped the provided charger for a low-cost cellphone, as the Galaxy A13 5G and A03S both did. In any case, you should double-check the box before purchasing a low-cost Galaxy handset.
It would be a shame, too, because low-cost cellphones are frequently the first smartphones for many people. As a result, someone purchasing a smartphone for the first time — or for the first time in a long time — may be unable to use a previous USB-C charger.
