The success of Sotheby’s record-breaking Contemporary Curated sales, we are proud to present the second annual edition of Contemporary Curated in London this September. Guest curated by British-Nigerian rapper, producer and DJ, Skepta, the sale includes works from the most established to the emerging generation of artists, including a selection Skepta has handpicked for his edit and debuting his own painting for the first time.
Earlier this week, the British-Nigerian rapper sold an original painting for £81,900 GBP ($94,660) as part of Sotheby’s “Contemporary Curated” sale, easily exceeding its presale estimate of $46,000 to $69,000.
