Osun State APC strong, indivisible, says Oyetola

Gboyega Oyetola, the governor of OSUN State, has warned voters to be careful of opposition parties' attempts to divert attention away from the state's governorship race.

Yesterday in Osogbo, Oyetola declared this at a civic engagement session organized by the state's Civic Engagement Centre for the Osun State Conference of Artists, Designers, House and Spraying Painters.

Mr. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, the governor's Special Adviser on Civic Engagement, also advised members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the electorate to remain focused on the work of the governor's re-election effort.

Oyetola, who stated that the APC in Osun State is still united and indivisible, advised people not to get disturbed, but to remain firm, unwavering, and devoted to the mission at hand.

The governor asked party members to continue educating the public about the importance of the governor's people-oriented governing style's stability, durability, and continuity.

"As the election nears, we task all members at all levels to use a door-to-door strategy to remind the electorate why the administration deserves another chance to accomplish its developmental agenda for the state," he said.

"The APC of Osun is a powerful and unbreakable force." I'd want to encourage to both party members and the general public not to be fooled or diverted by opposing parties' lies and deception.

“You have seen and witnessed a lot of positive impacts and achievements since the inception of the administration and you can be rest assured of better things to come when re-elected,” he said.

Oyetola, who predicted that the opposition will soon launch a smear campaign based on false promises, asked the electorate to remain steadfast in their resolve to preserve continuity.

He did, however, thank members of the association for their support, and he promised that the administration will continue to foster a business-friendly atmosphere.

In his remarks, the association's chairman, Siyanbola Shaeeb, praised the governor for putting a human face on governance.
Members of the group, according to Shaeeb, will back the governor's re-election bid.

He also praised the governor for creating a conducive climate for the association's members to conduct their business without impediment.
