Drake has added a new record to his already-extensive list of achievements, this time becoming the first artist to have two albums each spend at lest 400 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.
According to Chart Data, Drizzy’s 2013 effort Nothing Was the Same logged its 400th week on the chart and is now his second album to earn 400 weeks following Take Care. The 2011 record is currently in its 454th week on the Billboard 200; in mid-October, Take Care became the third rap album to spend 450 weeks on the chart and is trailing the then-550-week record of Eminem‘s Curtain Call: The Hits and Kendrick Lamar‘s good kid, m.A.A.d city then-468 weeks.
Nothing Was the Same dropped in September 2013 and featured contributions from 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Majid Jordan, Jay-Z, Jhené Aiko and Sampha. It went on to debut at No. 1 and was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2014 GRAMMYs.
