Amidst baby news, Rihanna gives an update on her new music

My fans would murder me if they had to wait this long for a lullaby," Rihanna teased.

It's been a few weeks since the world learnt that Rihanna is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, in addition to having love on her mind. Though the Navy is overjoyed for the pair, fans can't help but wonder about Rihanna's highly anticipated ninth studio album (once again).

Rihanna explained what's up with her upcoming songs while attending her Fenty Beauty/Fenty Skin event in Los Angeles over Super Bowl LVI weekend. She confirmed to Entertainment Tonight, "Yes, you're still going to get songs from me." The Navy, on the other hand, should not expect her to change her tone.

by targeting a younger demographic "If my fans waited this long for a lullaby, they'd murder me," she joked, adding that she's now working on "one thing at a time."

The Anti singer also discussed her decision to wear a pink Chanel puffer coat in her pregnancy reveal photo in a separate interview. "I acquired this jacket when no one knew I was pregnant, and it was just a jacket that I liked, and I was constantly looking forward to wearing it," she explained to Extra. "It just so happened to be the best day for it." I could unbutton it to just the perfect location since it was cold."

Rih opened the first Los Angeles brick-and-mortar location for her lingerie/loungewear brand, Savage X Fenty, during the busy Super Bowl weekend, and surprised fans with a special appearance. The 33-year-old posed and even took photos with some adoring attendees while dressed in a sultry red ensemble from head to toe.

"It's always something I've wanted to do," she told The Hollywood Reporter, "and being able to connect with our clients in real life was really important to me." We've been dreaming about these stores for a long time, and walking inside our L.A. location today was a dream come true."

There will be a total of five outlets across the country. The first store opened in late January in Las Vegas, followed by locations in Houston, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C, to open soon. All the locations are anticipated to be open during the early half of 2022.
