4 Cities In the World Where Only The Rich Lives

Several cities come to mind but here are the most certified

  1. Monte Carlo, Monaco

A magnet for the wealthy appalled by the very concept of paying taxes, it is home to numerous grand hotels and casinos. Hosting the prestigious Formula 1 event annually, many of its residents also own limited edition supercars with eye-watering prices. Unless you're an employee for one of the city's institutions, I don't imagine anyone can afford to live there for cheap. Good place to place your superyacht, and stash some overseas funds.

2. Beverly Hills, California (and while we're at it, Bel Air, and Calabasas)

Palm trees line the streets of the city that prides itself as home to many Hollywood stars. Overlooking the city of Los Angeles, many of its designer mansions can cost up to tens of millions of dollars in list price. Very long list of celebrities who own a house there.

3. Gstaad, Switzerland

An upscale ski resort town in the Bernese Oberland region of the country most famed for its top-line legacy ski resorts, neutrality, and favourable tax laws. Home to many many big names (past, and present) like Julie Andrews, Prince Rainier of Monaco and Grace Kelly, Ernesto Bertarelli (wealthiest Swiss today), and Nat Rothschild. You can bet you need substantial income to live here.

4. Atherton, California

Frequently ranked as the most expensive ZIP code in the United States, it is home to San Francisco's old money families, and now Silicon Valley executives.
