Everyone seems to be talking about El Salvador and its President Nayib Bukele. Just a few years ago, El Salvador was dubbed Murder Capital of the World, but today it is safer than most countries in the Americas! In this video I travel to El Salvador, from the capital city San Salvador where I talk to the locals about what they think of the changes, travelling to the famous Lake Coatepeque, hiking the Santa Ana Volcano, visiting towns along the Ruta de las Flores like Juayua and Salcotitan, and ending my time on the Pacific coastline. El Salvador and its people have been through tough times, but things are looking optimistic for the future, and the country has so much natural beauty to explore.
