On Day 1 of the Adelaide International tennis tournament, Daria Kasatkina, Emma Navarro, and Victoria Mboko all won their respective first-round matches. Match Results Daria Kasatkina defeated Maria Sakkari 7-6 (2), 6-4. This was Kasatkina's first win on home soil as an Australian citizen. Emma Navarro (6th seed) defeated local favorite Emerson Jones in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, for her first win of the 2026 season. Victoria Mboko (8th seed) came from a set down to defeat Beatriz Haddad Maia 5-7, 6-3, 6-2. Jaqueline Cristian upset the 4th-seeded Ekaterina Alexandrova in straight sets.
