Iatmul people of the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea have made crocodiles their totem and worshipped the sacred animal which they believe played a part in the creation of humans and the Earth. Among approximately 15,000 members of the Iatmul are Charles and Norbert, who have their initiation ritual approaching. The two young men nervously walk to the house of spirits, and embark on their journey into adulthood in the clans of the Iatmul.
