Artist Yinka Shonibare CBE chats with the director of the Lagos Biennial, Folakunle Oshun. The artist discusses growing up in Nigeria, his experience at art school in London, and how authenticity and unpredictability have played a part in his career. Shonibare's work features in 'Lagos, Peckham, Repeat: Pilgrimage to the Lakes', an exhibition exploring the relationships, culture, shared history, communities and art that link Lagos in Nigeria, and Peckham in south east London. Oshun is co-curator of the exhibition.
