The company says the new vertical feed will feature local business highlights and popular dishes from nearby restaurants. Yelp also plans to soon display user-generated content, such as reviews, on the app's home screen.

An Android redesign updates the Explore feature card to provide visual elements for search. This comes after Instagram rolled out a searchable map experience for location searches last month.

With this update, Yelp has redesigned their login and business pages with a strong emphasis on photography. The company says it has also made backend improvements to speed up the app experience.
“In addition to the improved home page, search results, and store page, we've also made significant improvements to the backend to improve app load times, significantly reduce app errors, and improve the overall app experience. rice field. Users can also expect new Android updates to roll out more quickly in the future.,” Yelp noted in a statement.
A new Yelp update will roll out to Android users in 900 US cities in the coming weeks. Earlier this year, the company expanded its partnership with Hazel Analytics to display accurate health scores across 700,000 company pages.
