Journalist Jemele Hill, civil rights champion Stacey Abrams, celebrity Will Smith, and the famous Cicely Tyson were among the recipients of the 53rd NAACP Image Awards' podcast and literary awards.
The Image Accolades' non-televised awards will be presented in five virtual ceremonies beginning February 21 and running through February 26, leading up to the live transmission of the top categories on February 26 on BET.

Smith, who is up for an Oscar for his role in the biopic "King Richard," was honored with the literary biography award for his account of his own life in "Will," which was published late last year.
