TJ Adeshola has been named Head of Global Content Partnerships at Twitter.

TJ Adeshola has been named head of global content partnerships for Twitter, while Sarah Rosen will be in charge of content partnerships in the United States.

Jen Prince left last autumn to join the L.A. Rams as chief commercial officer, and Adeshola, who was previously head of U.S. sports partnerships at Twitter, takes over the post left empty.

Adeshola will be in charge of the company's global operations to assist premium content partners in monetizing their material as well as interacting with and attracting fans on Twitter. He worked in digital sales and marketing at ESPN before joining Twitter ten years ago, where he supported the sports giant's digital businesses, including ESPN.com.

As part of the newly formed Twitter Partnerships department, which includes its developer platform and business development teams that serve content, technology, media, and product partners, Adeshola reports to CFO Ned Segal.

"For the past decade, TJ's passion for Twitter and our content partners has resulted in incredible results for our audience, partners, and advertisers," Segal said in a statement. "As the team's leader, he'll have a huge influence around the world, helping partners grow their audiences, monetise their content, and improve the conversation on Twitter." TJ is resourceful, diligent, and infectiously enthusiastic about improving on our clients' Twitter success."

"I'm so delighted to lead Twitter's incredibly brilliant global content partnerships team," Adeshola said. Every day, we get the opportunity to work with the best media properties across the globe in amazing ways. Our partners help us make the Twitter timeline pop, and there’s so much opportunity ahead of us.”

Rosen will take on the role of head of U.S. content partnerships, managing all efforts with content partners in the region across entertainment, news, and sports as part of the move. Adeshola will be her boss.

Rosen was previously the head of Twitter's US entertainment and news partnerships. She worked at Viacom as a senior director of partner management and program development, managing targeted marketing campaigns across the media company's channels, and as director of consumer marketing for MTV Games until joining Twitter in 2014.
