Tesla CEO Elon Musk says he has Covid again

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, revealed his acquisition of Covid on Twitter on Monday. The statement comes after Tesla's Shanghai factory was forced to halt production for four days until about April 1 due to regional Covid restrictions. To combat a Covid-19 epidemic, China is closing down the city in two parts. In March, Tesla also halted production in Shanghai for two days after officials imposed Covid health regulations.

"Covid-19 is the virus of Theseus," Musk said on Monday. How many gene modifications does it take before it's no longer Covid-19? I'm supposed to have it again (sigh), but there aren't many symptoms this time." Musk gave no explanation for how he was examined or why he had any reason to be skeptical about the results.

Musk has a history of dismissing health officials and underestimating the new coronavirus.
As Covid began to spread across the United States in February 2020, Musk incorrectly predicted that the virus would be eradicated by April 2020. He declared in November 2020 that he had tested positive for Covid.
During a corporate earnings call in April 2020, when Covid numbers were soaring in California, Musk labeled health restrictions "fascist" in an expletive-laden rant. Despite health orders, the CEO kept his company's Fremont, California plant open, and faced no consequences from the state or Alameda County.
