Rotimi - A Son of Nigerian Immigrants Path to Power & Success in Music & Hollywood

Nigerian - American actor and singer, Olurotimi Akinosho, a.k.a Rotimi sits down with Ryan, Channing and Fred for a conversation covering everything from his Nigerian roots, music, acting, and his ongoing strive for excellence. Most recently recognized for his work playing the character, Dre, on the hit series Power, one of the most prolific shows over the past decade;  the guys dive into Rotimi’s journey to this point and transformation to stardom. He opens up about his upbringing and being raised by immigrants which he attributes to the work ethic he has today. 

He tells the guys that his mother had a dream when she was 7 months pregnant that Bob Marley spoke to her and said, “Your son is going to finish my legacy.”  This dream served as an inflection point for his future and his parents guided him towards entertainment because they believed it was his calling.
