Rihanna, Zendaya, and Other Celebrities Are Making Us Adore Cargo Pants

One of the most enjoyable aspects of street style is witnessing celebrities convert ordinary products into unforgettable fashion moments. Cargo pants for women, for example, don't exactly scream whimsical wardrobe essential, but Rihanna, Emily Ratajkowski, Zendaya, and Soo Joo Park have all lately demonstrated just how gorgeous those practical trousers can be.
Rihanna chose a Celine camo pattern last week. The street style queen paired her army-inspired slacks with a bright orange Celine sweater, fluffy complementing jacket, and Gucci & Balenciaga shoes, proving they're the ideal partner for striking winter outerwear.

Aside from Celine, the heavily-pocketed trousers are getting substantial modifications from a slew of designers. Balmain just launched a pair with lengthy dramatic (in the nicest way) straps on the runway. Of course, Zendaya, who is usually one step ahead of the fashion game, was able to pull off the playful pants when out and about last December. And Tom Ford shattered the myth that cargo trousers must be composed of hard, inflexible materials by producing a flowing metallic green pair that Soo Joo Park dressed to perfection for a party marking the debut of the brand's Ombré Leather Parfum.

Until recently, these pants were linked with garish tourist attire or the noughties' good taste/bad taste style. Cargo pants for women, on the other hand, seem much more like a modern wardrobe essential that can be worn running errands or for a cool and relaxed approach to dressier situations in 2022. Whether you're a minimalist looking for a black leather pair to wear all winter or a trendsetter looking to make a statement in Collina Strada's fanciful patterned shoes.
