Qatar Completes The FIFA World Cup Beer Regulations For 2022.

Insidethegames.biz says that fans will be permitted to purchase alcoholic beverages at stadiums and fan zones during the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The event's planners in the country with a majority of Muslims in the Middle East have finalized a policy allowing supporters to purchase Budweiser beer with alcohol before and after games inside the eight stadium compounds, but not at concourse concession stands, and in the evenings at the official "Fan Festival," held at Doha Park.

Since February 2021, corporate packages with "premium beverages" have allowed hospitality clients to purchase champagnes, wine, liquor, and beer.

Since the 1986 World Cup, Budweiser has been the only beer available, and in 2011, parent company AB InBev extended the agreement to last until 2022.

Before kickoff and after the game, alcohol will be offered inside the stadium's perimeter.

Budweiser Zero won't include alcohol and will be available to ticket holders within the stadium bowl, according to a statement from FIFA.

Budweiser will be sold at the FIFA Fan Festival starting at 6.30 p.m.

Alcohol consumption in public is not permitted in Qatar. But it is offered in authorized hotels and bars.

Other Middle Eastern countries have more stringent laws governing alcohol.

During the 2019 Club World Cup, Qatar tested its alcohol policies.

On November 20, the hosts will play Ecuador in the World Cup opener.

On December 18, the final is scheduled, and more than a million fans from 31 different nations are anticipated in the Gulf state.
