Owners of Manchester United allegedly Want $4.3 Billion For The Club.

According to The Daily Mail, the Glazers, who paid $954.48 million for the Premier League club in 2005, are now asking for about $4.3 billion for the squad. The family, who also own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was earlier said to be prepared to demand a record $5.9 billion for the organization, which Forbes assessed at $4.6 billion in May.

Despite not being put on the market formally, rumors of a sale are circulating as the Glazers deal with pressure from Manchester United supporters.

The family has collected $406 million in share sales, consulting fees, and dividends while Man U has paid about $1.1 billion in interest and debt repayments.

The Glazers' intentions on selling the entire club are unknown. The Glazers are reportedly seeking at least $235 million for stadium infrastructure upgrades and have discussed loans and stake sales in the process. The Times previously stated that it is also likely that the team's media rights will be sold.
