Minecraft YouTuber Dream reveals his face to millions of subscribers for the first time

A popular Minecraft gamer and YouTube star has revealed his face to fans for the first time. 'Dream', who has over 30 million subscribers on the popular video-sharing platform, took off his mask in a five-minute clip and also revealed he once got a text from the FBI about a threat on his life. Known as Clay, his social media reveal to a whopping 5.6 million followers has already received over 732,000 likes on Twitter. In a YouTube video, Clay said it felt "awkward" talking to the camera for the first time and he was revealing his face so his friend George, from the UK, could move to the US and live with him after getting a visa.

Dream said: "It's because George - he's my best friend, he's been in the UK trying to get a Visa to come to America, to come move here and move in with me. "George is going to be in the airport. I'm going to meet him for the first time. "I've known him so long, feels like my entire life." During the video, Dream also revealed that he once got a call from the FBI.

He said: "I feel like I have gotten so desensitized to hate that I find a lot of it funny. I got a text saying 'hey, this is agent.. something from the FBI'. I was like 'oh the FBI... my old number got leaked'. "It was actually the FBI and were like 'yeah... there's a threat on your life'. I thought it was funny, my mum did not think it was funny." 'George' is another popular Minecraft YouTuber creator known as GeorgeNotFound who since joining the site in 2013 has gained well over 571 million views.

Twitch streamer and friend Karl Jacobs posted a video of him seeing one of his "best friends' faces for the first time" on Twitter. Laughing, Karl said: "Oh shoot... You look like a baseball player. I don't know what I expected you to look like, you're actually handsome, this is messed up." Minecraft is hugely popular across the world and has around 141 million active users, according to data released by Statista in August this year.

"Anyone can be under the mask and I don't want my face reveal to take away from that fact - Dream could have been anyone from anywhere," Dream added. "I will be forever in debt to my viewers and my subscribers. I love you guys." Despite the new reveal, the gamer said he is not planning on releasing any comment with a face camera just yet, but more content showing him with his friends and "lots of creative ideas coming up".
