Mike Tyson has said that while refuting recent rumours of a $49 million USD boxing match against good friend Jake Paul, he would take the fight for the appropriate price.
On an edition of his Hotboxin podcast, the former heavyweight world champion discussed a possible deal. "Hey, I ain't got no f*cking money," Tyson said when asked about a possible fight versus Paul by Jermell Charlo and Paul Pierce. "So, where's the f*cking contract?" says the narrator. He continued to deny any discussions with the YouTube star, but said he'd welcome the fight if Paul could match his demands.
It's not something I'm familiar with. Listen, I've been smoking with him for a long time, and I've also done some shrooming with him. But this is something I've never heard before. I was partying with him in St. Barts not long ago, and he never told me. I've never heard anything like this before, and I've only heard it from you. We've had to acquire some more man sh*t, blue-eyed, blonde hair, that sh*t is really expensive, so we've got to get some more cash, guy."
When asked how much he'd fight Paul for, Tyson simply said, "a billion dollars."
