Jamie Lee Curtis Shows Off Her Halloween Ends Battle Wounds

Jamie Lee Curtis has suffered as a result of the last confrontation between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers. Halloween Ends, the third episode of Blumhouse's new Halloween trilogy, reintroduces Curtis for what is supposed to be her final appearance as Laurie, the role she first appeared as in John Carpenter's original 1978 film. The sequel is presently in production, and while there are no plans for any follow-up films at this time, the aim is to wrap up this three-part saga in a dramatic way.

Whatever happens between Laurie and Michael remains to be seen, but their final battle is unexpectedly physical. Curtis took to social media to share a new snapshot of herself from the set, looking as if she had just come from an octagon fight. With a smirk on her lips and a middle finger in the air, the actress appears to be pleased with how her final scenes with Michael Myers are progressing, even if things are getting a little tough.

"It's gotten REAL! Fight Club in the style of Laurie Strode!" Curtis says in the caption, remaining silent on specifics so as not to breach the club's first rule. Curtis wrote on Twitter, "Only last night, pummeled, bruised, and bloodied, and after being in the show off industry for 45 years, do I finally understand why the director calls ACTION!"

David Gordon Green returns to direct Halloween Ends after initially directing Halloween in 2018 and the sequel Halloween Kills last year. Curtis also tweeted a photo from the set with Kyle Richards (Lindsay Wallace) and Andi Matichak (Allyson Nelson), confirming their roles in the new film. Will Patton is reportedly slated to return as Frank Hawkins, with James Jude Courtney reprising his role as "The Shape," Michael Myers.
