After receiving a positive update regarding Jamie Foxx‘s recovery from a “medical complication,” the actor and his daughter, Corinne Foxx, announced an upcoming game show with Fox. Set to debut sometime in 2024, the father-daughter duo offered a press release regarding their new music game show, We Are Family. “We are thrilled to be developing We Are Family with Jeff Apploff and our friends at FOX Entertainment after so much success with six seasons of Beat Shazam,” read the release. “We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we’ve had to create it when it premieres next year.” We Are Family is set to feature hidden celebrities and their relatives performing with a live studio audience of 100 contestants.
The contestants will be tasked with trying to guess which celebrity the performers are related to for the chance at a $100,000 USD grand prize. “Jamie and Corinne are important partners to the FOX Family,” shared Allison Wallach, President, of Unscripted Programming, of FOX Entertainment. “Their boundless energy and charming interplay with contestants are irresistible, which make them the perfect hosts of We Are Family.
This series joins FOX’s fast-growing list of premium music-centric competition series.” Stay tuned for more info regarding Jamie Foxx and his daughter’s We Are Family game show.
