Eager to show off the future of the metaverse, Meta Platforms has decided to open a 1,550 square-foot retail store in … the regular-verse.
Meta (ticker: META) , Facebook’s parent, said Monday that it will open the first Meta Store on May 9 on the company’s Reality Labs campus in Burlingame, Calif., a little south of San Francisco. The store will offer demos of Oculus Quest 2 headsets, Portal videocalling hardware, and smart glasses co-branded with Ray Ban.
