Yes, David Adeleke has a famous namesake. However, that’s just a quirky side note in the story of his life as one of the foremost journalists in today’s digital landscape. Growing up as the son of pastors lent itself to a slightly nomadic childhood before ultimately settling at the house that David Oyedepo built: Faith Academy and Covenant University. From there, an interest in journalism and storytelling would emerge leading him to build his experience at some of the country’s largest digital media companies: Tech Cabal (Big Cabal Media), Ventures Africa, and Business Insider Africa (Ringier). These days he’s building out Communiqué, a media intelligence platform, designed to provide clear insights on the intersection of technology, media, and business on the continent.
