London-born singer/songwriter and poet Arlo Parks uses her words to talk about young adult emotional experiences and mental health awareness, accompanied by an enticing mixture of bedroom pop and indie soul. Her first full album "Collapsed in Sunbeams" won her the 2021 Mercury Prize for Album of the Year and the Brit Award for Best New Artist. The single "Eugene" became a Queer Anthem. In 2023 she released her second album "My Soft Machine", which focuses on navigating life in your 20s, dealing with feelings of anxiety, and her first serious relationship.
