Apple Music Kicks Off ‘Rihanna’s Road to Halftime’ Leading Up to Super Bowl LVII

Earlier this month, Apple Music shared a teaser for Rihanna’s highly-anticipated Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show. As excitement around the singer’s upcoming performance grows, Apple Music has followed up with the launch of a campaign dedicated to her discography and her loyal fanbase. Entitled Rihanna’s Road to Halftime, the campaign is composed of a few different initiatives designed to engage fans. Beginning today, listeners can now stream Rihanna’s music in Spatial Audio in Dolby Atmos to experience her sounds like never before. They’ll also be able to sing along with the singer, as her music has been added to the new Apple Music Sing feature, available across iPhones, iPads and Apple TV. 

Apple Music will be rolling out a fleet of exclusive programming for Super Bowl LVII and specifically, Rihanna’s live show. “Halftime Hype Radio” is an upcoming 10-part series that will remember some of the most iconic Super Bowl Halftime performances throughout the years. “Rihanna Revisited Radio,” meanwhile, will span 8 episodes and delve into the impact of the singer’s music on pop culture. Apple will also be on-site at the Super Bowl, broadcasting from Glendale. Arizona, on the new “Live from Super Bowl LVII” radio show. A rotating lineup of hosts will include Apple Music’s own Zane Lowe, Ebro Darden and Nadeska Alexis, alongside surprise guests.

The broadcast will be followed by “Halftime Recap Radio,” a rehashing of the day prior’s events. On February 9, the singer will be interviewed by Apple Music at a live-streamed press conference for specifically focused on the Halftime Show. “Rihanna is one of the most prolific artists of our time, and we, along with her many fans across the globe, cannot wait to see her take the stage at the first Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show,” Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats Oliver Schusser, said. Rihanna will have a busy next few weeks as she gears up for the Halftime Show, which has cemented itself as the most-watched musical performance of the year.
