It’s been an interesting offseason for the Golden State Warriors. They made a few additions that will undoubtedly pay dividends. For starters, the Dubs brought back 2015 NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala.
Iggy will help fill the void left by Kevin Durant. The team also added Otto Porter Jr., a former top-ten pick, and big-man Nemanja Bjelica. It’s expected that the last roster spot is used to sign guard Avery Bradley.
The Golden State Warriors, like any other team, are going to have positional battles sorted out in training camp. Let’s dive into which positions are open.
Those four will be the veteran players the team brought in. Golden State will have Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody on the roster as well; however, minutes for the two lottery picks may be limited at least to start the season.
How head coach Steve Kerr will use his six new players is still to be determined. What we do know is that not all have locked-in rotational spots, and following the team’s first preseason game, there may be some telling changes on the horizon.
