You can now officially check which games in your Steam library are supported on Steam Deck

Steam Deck, Valve's planned handheld gaming gadget that will allow gamers to enjoy existing games from their Steam catalog, is almost here.

You can now log in with your Steam account to link your library and discover which titles have been validated to function on the forthcoming handheld, which is set to launch this Friday, Feb. 25, with shipments rolling out throughout the year.

Valve states that "testing suggests these titles from your Steam Library are entirely functional on Steam Deck, and work nicely with the built-in controls and display" for "Verified" games.

The second type of Steam Deck game is "Deck Playable," which means that Valve testing "indicates these titles from your Steam Library are usable on Steam Deck, but may require additional effort to interact with or configure.

Then there's the bad news: unsupported games that won't work at all on Steam Deck. The bright side is that Valve is gradually adding support for new titles, but they will not be compatible with the Deck for the time being.

The site's final category is untested games, which will most likely represent the majority for many players who have been collecting games on Steam for years. The release of confirmed titles, whether verified, playable, or unsupported, will continue in the future.
