TAG Heuer Unveils Next-Generation Connected Timepieces

TAG Heuer has unveiled the latest version of its Connected smartwatch, which includes a new smaller case size.

On top of the original, and more sporty, 45mm watch with its ceramic bezel, which has also been updated for a "better sense of flow," the Connected Calibre E4 now has a more stylish 42mm model with glassbox sapphire windshield and a smaller case and bezel, In addition, the 45mm model now has a 30% longer battery life.

To create a link to the brand's chronograph legacy, TAG Heuer has included a large crown for fingertip operation, an altimeter, and mechanical-feeling pushers, The Connected comes with a larger selection of straps than ever before, including rubber, stainless steel and, for the first time, leather.

TAG Heuer has also increased the number of watchfaces available, adding a number of legacy alternatives that reflect TAG Heuer's long history of producing chronographs, as well as new contemporary artistic animations.

The watchfaces also incorporate more information than ever before, including a five-hour weather prediction, activity time, and wellness-related data.

A series of on-screen, animated "guided workouts" targeting upper body, lower body, or full body workouts is one wholly new feature available on the Connected Calibre E4 watches.

TAG Heuer has also announced a new component exchange scheme for owners of prior generations of Connected watches who want to upgrade to the latest models, with discounts of CHF 200, 300, and 450.

TAG Heuer's Connected Calibre E4 watches will be available on March 10th, with prices starting at $1,800 USD.
