Sweden's Premier League club IFK Goteborg has completed the signature of Nigerian striker Saidu Salis from the famous Joss football academy GBS in Nigeria. OwnGoalNigeria.com can reveal it exclusively.

The contract was found exclusively to be the first loan term before a decision was made to permanently sign him  if he was impressed at the end of the season.

He was scouted by a team scout on a recent trip after being impressed by  his strong left foot and  impressive ball skills. He is also very strong and fast.

The 20 year old forward was a part of the Nigeria U20 team of 2020 under coach Ladan Bosso but missed out on the final selection of players for the WAFU Championship after picking up a toe injury.

In his absence, the team failed to seal a spot in the U20 Africa Cup of Nations as they crash out in the group stage. Saidu has since then played for two Nigerian teams in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Last season he was at Kano Pillars after having a short stint with former NPFL champions Akwa United, all on a special loan agreement with GBS Academy owned by famous Nigeria academy coach Ahmed Ibrahim popularly called coach Bros.
