Yuga Labs is the web3 platform behind the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT series, which includes 10,000 Bored Ape NFTs.
A Bored Ape NFT was purchased for nearly $350,000 by Universal Music Group's Web3 label 10:22PM last week.
Yuga Labs is valued at $4 billion following the funding round.
Top-tier gaming developers like Animoca Brands and its subsidiary The Sandbox, key partners like LionTree, Sound Ventures, and Thrive Capital, and significant crypto platforms like FTX and MoonPay have also participated in the round.
Artists such as Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, 3LAU, Steve Aoki, and Gunna, as well as electronics giant Samsung, are among Yuga Labs' other investors.
The company's fundraising announcement comes on the heels of Yuga Labs' acquisition of CryptoPunks and Meebits from Larva Labs earlier this month.
On the Ethereum blockchain, CryptoPunks and Meebits are two prominent non-fungible token (NFT) collections.
