Alisson Becker was left lying on his back blinking away the Anfield sun after being caught out by a spectacular Enock Mwepu strike on Saturday.
His teammate, Yves Bissouma, has been heavily linked with a Liverpool switch over the last 12 months. But it was the Zambian and not the Malian that silenced Anfield.
He wrapped his foot around the ball and, in a Steven Gerrard-esque fashion, he found the top corner from an unlikely angle and from all of 25 yards to give Brighton hope.

Liverpool need to add more depth to their midfield ranks and, while he is not a glamorous option like Bissouma, who is the more exciting midfielder, the Zambian would flourish in Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Burnley v Brighton & Hove Albion - Premier League
Much like Brighton, the Reds’ midfield only succeeds because of hard work and determination, with Liverpool’s engine room tasked with pressing and winning the ball back to supply their full-backs or front three in attack.
Mwepu is more than capable of deputising for Jordan Henderson and, at 23, he is the perfect age for the Liverpool transfer model. However, with his contract running until 2025, Michael Edwards and co. will struggle to get Brighton to agree a low fee.
