My cinematic travel film documents a journey into the far north of Mongolia document the Tsaatan (Dukha) reindeer herders, a semi-nomadic community living deep within the Mongolian Taiga forest. I travelled through remote northern Mongolia, spending time and living with reindeer nomads who still live in traditional teepees, herd reindeer for survival, and migrate through the forest in search of better pastures. The film captures a key part of their seasonal migration — dismantling their homes, loading them onto reindeer, and moving through dense forest terrain.
