Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala will be aiming to score her 13th goal of the season for Barcelona Fermini when they host German side Hoffenheim on Wednesday in a UEFA Women’s Champions League game
Barcelona Fermini will look to continue their 100 per cent start to the season in all competitions when they battle Hoffenheim.
They dispatched Arsenal in the group-stage opener, thumping the Gunners 4-1 before they traveled to Denmark on matchday two to face Koge.
The Danish side defended commendably and it took 62 minutes for Barcelona to break the deadlock, with Fridolina Rolfo grabbing the opener, and the visitors sealed the victory in stoppage time when Jennifer Hermoso scored from the spot.
Oshoala who is her club’s top scorer in the league with 11 goals has scored once in two UEFA Women’s Champions League group games for the European Champions.
She is expected to lead the line, while midfielder Alexia Putellas who was rested at the weekend makes a return to the starting line-up

Nicole Billa will be aiming to breach the solid Barcelona defence, with the Hoffenheim forward in fine goal-scoring touch having scored six goals in her last six club games.
Hoffenheim will be looking to one of Germany’s rising stars to create the chances, with Jule Brand set to play a key role for the German side.
