MCU Rumored To Introduce All-New Wolverine Character in 'Doctor Strange 2'

As the release date for Doctor Strange in the Mutliverse of Madness approaches, new speculations suggest that the MCU intends to introduce its own Wolverine character in the film.

While reports suggest that Hugh Jackman will play Wolverine in the MCU, this will not be the case. When they permitted Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire to return to Spider-Man: No Way Home, they opened the door for the MCU to bring in characters from all corners of the multiverse. When Patrick Stewart's voice was heard in the trailer narration for Doctor Strange 2, the rumor mill erupted. Stewart, on the other hand, recently dispelled the reports that he would appear in the film.

The sequel features Benedict Cumberbatch returning his role as the titular character, Elizabeth Olsen resuming her role as Wanda Maximoff, Benedict Wong reprising his role as Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor reprising his part as Baron Mordo, and Rachel McAdams reprising her role as Dr. Christine Porter. The Illuminerdi's Joeseph Deckelmeier tweeted that the next film will star Wolverine, but that "it definitely won't be Hugh Jackman."
