The group exhibition Surfaces 3 (October 05 - November 09, 2024 at Afriart Gallery Kampala) marked the culmination of a transformative conceptual development masterclass guided by mentor and fellow artist Henry ‘Mzili’ Mujunga. For two months, 15 artists immersed themselves in an intensive workshop focusing on critique, growth and production. Throughout this period, the artists met once a week to discuss and refine their work. SURFACES 3 showcased their artistic journeys through a diverse array of artworks that reflect both individual expression and collective learning.
