How Antonio Conte could set up Tottenham side if Fabio Paratici completes major free transfers

Antonio Conte has only been the manager of Tottenham since last week, but already the Italian coach is looking to leave his stamp on his new squad.

Conte, who signed an 18-month contract at Spurs last week, has been in charge for just two matches so far, with his new team winning in the Europa Conference League against Vitesse on Thursday, before drawing 0-0 at Everton in the Premier League a few days later.

The Tottenham boss inherited a squad from Nuno Espirito Santo that was wildly out of form and the next few weeks before the January transfer window opens could be key in determining what is next for the Spurs players under the notoriously ruthless Conte.

One man that continues to be linked with a move to north London is AC Milan and Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie, who sees his contract at the San Siro expire at the end of the season.

According to a report from 90Min last week, Conte has given Tottenham the "green light" to go and pursue a move for the 24-year-old, who continues to impress in Serie A for Milan.

The report claims that Tottenham's managing director of football, Fabio Paratici, has already been looking at the club's options for the next summer transfer window - and one of those is said to be Kessie, who has impressed the north London outfit.

Tottenham will be hoping the lure of Conte will be enough to convince the Ivorian to move to Spurs, with a host of Premier League clubs also said to be interested in his services.

Alessio Romagnoli, like his Milan team-mate Kessie, also sees his contract expire at the end of the season, and Conte is also said to have given the aforementioned "green light" to the defender.

If Conte can indeed get his men, then there will be some selection dilemmas for the Italian coach to sort out. football.london takes a look at a possible way that Tottenham could be set up with both Kessie and Romagnoli at the club next summer.
