Kim Jones presented the Spring Summer 2024 Fendi collection in Milan. The front row is A-list: supermodels, Hollywood stars, K-pop idols, French cinema... And it's an event: Linda Evangelista hadn't appeared in a front row for a long time! Heart Evangelista and Bryanboy, who know all the gossip in the fashion world, were surprised. The set produced by Bureau Betak showcases the House's bags, reproducing them in giant size. We zoom (literally) in on the bags that have made the house such a success, like the Baguette and Peekaboo. We also take a look at new products like the versatile Origami and Flip. Backstage, the models get ready for the catwalk. Concentration. They're about to walk in front of supermodels like Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. A source of stress? Model Malika Louback sees it more as a source of inspiration. Les Child is back! The idol of our video on the Walk of the Models part 2 (the link is just below). His job is to choreograph the models' walk, helping them to walk at the right speed. During fittings, he briefs them one by one. This season's key words: take your time, sensuality, don't walk, glide. Anok Yai opened the show in an outfit inspired by the latest Fendi Haute Couture collection. Kim Jones chose a very precise colour palette. The basic colours of the outfits were neutral: brown, beige and grey. The details and accessories are highlighted by flashy colours: orange and yellow. Belts inspired by the Japanese Obi. Gloves that emphasise the bag, carried in the hand. Note the importance of geometry in the collection. Symmetry first. A white band divides the skulls of the models, with their hair flattened on either side, ending in a low ponytail. Then there are the straight lines. The jewellery designed by Delfina Delettrez Fendi is long. A tube of gold as an earring. A long chain hanging down the back. Finally, cylinders. The show ended with column dresses, a direct reference to those designed by Karl Lagerfeld for Fendi in 1999.
