Tottenham Hotspur recently sacked Nuno Espirito Santo as manager in the wake of the north London club's 3-0 loss to Manchester United with Spurs struggling under him as seen by the eight wins they could only manage in his 17 matches in charge.
Nuno lasted just 124 days at Tottenham and here, we take a look at the five shortest managerial reigns in Premier League history.
1. Les Reed (Charlton Athletic) - 41 days
Les Reed was appointed manager of Charlton Athletic on 14 November, 2006 and his reign lasted for less than six weeks, with the Englishman let go after managing to register just one win in the league.
Nicknamed as "Les Miserables" in the press, he would have actually been relieved to have been sacked as he struggled to make any sort of impact as as a manager.
2. Rene Meulensteen (Fulham) - 75 days
Fulham decided to take a punt on former Manchester United youth manager, Rene Meulensteen when they hired him to replace Martin Jol in November 2013.
However, they would soon regret their decision as he won only three of his 13 league games at the helm.
3. Frank de Boer (Crystal Palace) - 77 days
It came as a surprise that Crystal Palace decided to hire Frank de Boer as their manager considering that he lasted just 85 days in charge of Inter Milan.
The Dutchman struggled to live up to his hype and lasted just five games at London, which is the shortest reign in terms of games.
4. Bob Bradley (Swansea City) - 84 days
The first American to manage an American club in the Premier League, Bob Bradley was considered to be a long-term appointment by the club chairman.
He lasted for less than three months at the club, during which his side could collect only eight points during his tenure.
5. Quique Sanchez Flores (Watford) - 85 days
Quique Sanchez Flores was brought in by Watford to replace Javi Garcia, but as the others in the list, he struggled in his role - leading the club to just one win in his 85 days, while also seeing his side get thrashed 8-0 by Manchester City.
The Spaniard did lead Watford to the semi-finals of the FA Cup before he was sacked.
