Good morning from Mangily, Madagascar, a fishing village on the Mozambique channel coast. This village is so beautiful, from the ocean, to the flora and fauna, to the local Malagasy street food and seafood. Today we’re first starting with a canoe ride in the ocean to see how they go fishing. Then we’ll have an incredible Malagasy local breakfast of fish, beans, and rice on the streets of Mangily village. Then we’ll see the local fresh seafood catch on the beach, but a huge red snapper and local lobsters, and then go back to a local home to have an ultimate Malagasy bbq. The food and culture in the episode was truly breathtaking! Madagascar is a fascinating country; the people are so friendly, the nature is incredible, and the food is outstanding.
