Oluwakayode Junior Balogun, known as Barry Jhay was born on the 13th of February. He is a Nigerian recording artist, performer, entertainer from Ibadan. Barry Jhay is a prominent indigenous singer from the lineage of the great legendary music icon, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister (blessed memory).
As part of his success story, he has to his name The Best New Act of the Year at City People Music Awards in 2018 and also got nominated for Most Promising Act of the Year at City People Music Award. He has also won The Rookie of year award at The 2019 Headies Award.
Though it can be concluded he inherited the passion for quality and proverbial lyrical style but the quality he brings into the music industry is second to none.
The songs he has released include Olodo, Go Down, D.I.A, Normal Level, Aiye, Don Pablo, Tomorrow and Melanin.
